Kinesio Muscle Tape / Bio Balance Tape / Functional Band / Neuromuscular Band
Kinesio Taping is an oriental technique also known as Bio Balance Taping, Functional Bandage or Neuromuscular Bandage.
It is a method used in the field of rehabilitation and sport which, due to its ease of use and excellent results, has spread throughout the world. In some places, it is already being used as a 1st option in rehabilitation, in the treatment of dysfunctions and in the reduction of edema.
The application of the bands promotes lasting and constant mechanical stimuli on the skin. These tapes maintain communication with deeper tissues through receptors found in the epidermis and dermis. These receptors provide information that affects our body and give the musculoskeletal system the ability to regenerate itself by improving blood and lymphatic circulation.
